Altai Tavan Bogd National Park

This card set contains images from one of Mongolia’s premier national parks and the surrounding area. Established in 1996, the park covers 636,161 hectares of the Altai Mountain Range along Mongolia’s border with China and Russia. This is a land of glaciers, alpine lakes, forest, and tundra. Tavan Bogd (Five Saints) refers to the cluster of peaks that includes Khuiten Uul (4374 meters), the country’s highest summit.

This collection is the product of Conservation Ink, a nonprofit organization devoted to supporting conservation and environmental awareness in Mongolia’s protected areas through the production and sale of published educational materials. All proceeds go to conservation efforts in and around the national parks.

Art prints of these images are available for purchase. For information, contact Conservation Ink.
